It's no better than it sounds. Anyway, my two best friends from high school, Mike Driscoll from Harvard and Mike MF from Bates, came to visit. They were blown away at the sight of Split Day - especially considering I dragged them out of bed at 8:30 to head down to the bars on a Friday morning. This picture was taken at about 10am, by the way.
Split Day has to be one of the most ridiculous events I have ever been a part of. It's an annual event at 44s and used to be (or so I've been told) a competition between Big East schools on which school can drink the most in a 18 hour period. Doors open at 8am and stay open until 2am - you pay $20 bucks to get in with a case of splits (8 oz beers) and a T-shirt. Anyway, you probably drink as much as your spill on others. At about noon, 44s just turns into a mess of drunk kids tossing and spilling beers all over people. Whatever.
Rebecca and I. This is simply the start of the madness.
Mike.d, Eric and I. And yup, that's beer that's being poured over Eric's head.
Medway, Mass represent. None of us are okay to drive here.
Eric and I - happy as can be. The blurriness of this picture accuratley represents our current state.
Who is this girl? I have no idea - but apparently we're best friends. Whatever.
Sherri and Jiggity. They might be sober here. I, on the other hand, am dripping with Coors light.
Me and Amber. Amber = super cool. And wow, my nose is huge.
Yup, we were a sight to be seen. This is us in the middle of campus, oblivious to anything that's going on and soaked with beer. I can barely even hold my head up at this point.
The only picture on this whole roll of film where we're all sober. I don't know what the context of this photo was, but that's a typical Mike Driscoll pose complimenting a typical Eric Freid move.
