Eek... this past Sunday all backpack got stolen from the Hudson River skatepark. I left my bag in the cubby near the halfpipe - just like I always do - only this time when I got ready to leave my backpack was gone. Sucks. Wallet, phone, mp3 player, keys...

... including the keys to my bike lock. So, I ended up leaving my bike parked near the West Side highway, skated home, then waited outside for two hours for someone/anyone to come home. I couldn't even call anyone - not because my phone was stolen - but I don't know anyone's phone number (they're all programmed into my phone).

Anyway, here's a snapshot of what I lost...

wallet

- all my credit cards (2 amex, mastercard + ATM card)
- MTV ID
- the swipe card I need to get my car into the garage ($35 to replace!)
- phone number of the girl I met thursday night
- unlimited Metrocard (with only a few days left anyway)
- $100 gift certificate to Banana Republic
- $45 in store credit to H&M
- $5 in store credit to Old Navy
- $8 in stamps!
- 4 vouchers for free movies
- Blockbuster and Quiznos card
- my tiny subway map (fuckers!)
- handful of business cards
- baseball card that the Jup kids gave me when I left for Vindigo (sniffle)
- old ticket to the Letterman show MF and I went to back in the day

my keys

- keys to my apt
- keys to bike lock (sucks cause my bike is still locked up near the park)
- mailbox (and I don't have a spare for that... now what do I do?)
- keys to my parent's house
- both pairs of keys to my car (which are going to cost a fortune to replace)

phone (which I just replaced w/ a brand new camera phone)

- which isn't too bad since my phone sucked anyway, but I lost all the numbers...

mp3 player (which I got for free back in the dot-com heyday, but still...)

- featuring slamming hip hop summer tracks by Crooklyn Clan, Beyonce, Tribe Called Quest

lucky burton backpack (the same one that's been to Whistler, Grenoble, up and down Tuckerman's Ravine and Pamplona)

- containing my skate kneepads

Feel sorry for me and my stolen backpack - chip in a buck or $50....
