So, I finally went to the doctor about that snowboard crash from December - two different doctors said it was just a ligament tear and that "if you broke it, you'd know it". I ended up getting an X-ray anyway (er, after a two hour wait at the stoopid NYU Medical Center) and, sure enough, a piece of my a glenoid is busted off and just floating around.
What to do about it? I think I'm going to wait out the summer and see if it gets better. If it's still bothering me (it *kills* for about 20 seconds a day) then maybe I'll get it fixed (surgery!) at the end of the summer. Good times!
If you can't see where the break is (it's right in the middle), check out the Flickr pic.
