So, four days later, here's Part II of SuperBowl Weekend. Don't get too excited, this part is pretty boring. I had a bunch of kids over Sunday to watch the game. We were all pretty beat up from the No Data the night before.
Seattle vs. Pittsburgh = not a particularly exciting game (esp compared me + Jay travelling to Jacksonville last year to see the Pats vs. Eagles), but I went to high school with Matt Hasselbeck (er, and Boston Rob, if you really want to dig up deep cut D-list celebs) so we were rooting for Seattle.
Youngna took a bunch of pics. In fact, I stole a lot of these pics from here. You'll easily be able to tell which are mine and which are hers. Her digi is very fancy.
Janelle, Will, Randy, Lindsay. I think we squeezed in seven on my couch.
Bdiz representing in front of my overly orange walls.
Big Dig was out in Vegas for the game. He was kind enough to get me + Mom + Jay + Katie a Superbowl Square each. There were all pretty much garbage, except for Jonathan's - he won with Seattle 3, Pitt 0 at the end of the 1st quarter. (though not sure how much)
Stoopid Randy broke my salsa.
Superstar Hunter Will.S brought over some elk meat that he shot and killed just a few months back (yes, for real)
I grilled up some Cajun Turkey Kebobs (courtesy of Fresh Direct, $8.39). Verdict = delicious.
And we ordered up something like $60 worth of Dominos pizza and chicken kickersTM
ps: Child's Play compared to the $97.75 we ordered up at Gabes for SuperBowl 2004.
For dessssssert, Becca and Youngna served up some cookies + swedish fish.
Maybe 20 people were over? I went through my lost 'n found box trying to return some random stuff found under my couch. No takers on the Banana Republic vest, the grey gloves or the Gucci bracelet (shown). (And after everyone left, I added one pair of Rainbow Bright mittens to the collection)
So that's pretty much the end. Pittsburgh won. Becca did her Wicker Basket Dance for the little man that lives inside my buzzer. Um, yeah.
