Why Not to Go To Europe With Your Cousin
Map of Europe
In June 1997 was fortunate enough to pack up after finals and head over to Europe. See, my cousin Michelle has just graduated from Boston College and wanted to do some traveling before she entered the "real world". My parents agreed to pay my half of the bill if we wanted to travel together, so I gladly agreed.

We were abroad for 24 days - hitting nine different cities over the course of just over three weeks. You name it, we went there/saw it/took pictures of it.

Michelle and I As you can probably guess from the title of this work, my cousin and I weren't exactly buddy-buddy the whole trip. In fact, by the time we flew back into Boston we were barely even speaking to one another.

This work is intended not just to point out how poorly Michelle and I matched up as travel companions, but to tell the stories of all the random incidents and misfortunes we encountered on our journey. When you ask people about their travels abroad, chances are they'll rave and rave and rave... Sure we saw a lot of great stuff and met a lot of great people, but it's the sketchy stuff that makes for good stories.

So, travel on. Click the map on each page to advance to the next city. What do you say? Want to go to London?
